If Lisa Frank took acid, had a bondage fetish and religiously watched 90210 episodes she probably would have ended up making art that looks similar to the works of Alexandra Gorczynski. Alexandra is a designer and multi-media artist living in Philadelphia, PA. She started her blog Hologram City a year ago and it has become one of my personal favorite collections of found images on the internet. If you like what you see there is a whole lot more to feast your eyes on. Watch her videos and enjoy the interview below.

Liz Rywelski is wild. In fact, on easter she was literally laying chicken eggs on friends’ doorsteps. (You can ask recipients Ryan Trecartin, Spankrock or Ryan Katner from Man Man all about it.) She is a conceptual artist from Philadelphia whose work encompasses both private and public performances, videos, chatroom performances as well as paintings and drawings which you can see more of here. Liz has become exponentially fascinated by the internet which is perhaps partly inspired by Sharolaid, or perhaps has naturally progressed with the rise of internet culture and social forum. I’m personally hoping that she’ll start her own weekly internet talk show like Oprah but racier.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say that Andrew Jeffery Wright is one of the funniest people alive today. He is a multi- talented member of Space 1026 in Philadelphia working as a comedian, video artist, printmaker, photographer and probably has fifty other talents that he keeps up his sleeve that I don’t even know about. As a small side note, he also has six pack abs that he displayed last summer while hosting a glitter abs contest at PIFAS. Andrew designed Print Liberation’s Mr. ET T and you can get it HERE. Check out his interview, work and videos below.

Matt Jones and Jen Snyder are the ultra classy SF duo that make up the band Jonesin’. Last year, they released their first album “Hi, We’re Jonesin” and are on their way to releasing a second this year that is bound to blow minds. Matt is a synth genius who works for Pirates Press- a record production company in San Francisco and Jen is a freelance writer and all around good time gal who is obsessed with the supernatural. And, to make things even sweeter, Matt proposed to her at the Eiffel Tower last year. If you haven’t met them just imagine a cooler, bad-ass version of Sonny and Cher. 100% romantic dream team. You can listen to their songs, including my personal new favorite “Vampire” here.

Andrew Suggs is one of the hardest workers I know. Born and raised in small town Appalachian, Tennessee, Andrew is self made man who went from growing up poor in the middle of nowhere to working as the executive director of the artist collective Vox Populi in Philadelphia,PA at the young age of 27. He also makes his own work, and occasionally writes, curates and performs. Included in this interview are some photos of his more recent work Comus, or Some Man I Once Knew as well as his performance Queen. You can see more at voxpopuligallery.org
