I was recently turned on to CA Conrad after watching him read during Andrew Suggs’ installation and performance Comus, or Some Man I Once Knew at Vox Populi in Philadelphia, PA. Conrad is a big time Elvis fan who writes honest and biting poems that have become some of my personal favorites.

I loved you very intensely for a a few months last year. Actually, to be honest I was obsessed. I watched all of your movies, your music videos and interviews over and over until I knew them by heart. I even dreamt about you. I wished on many stars that you would appear to me but you never came, so I lost interest. Where have you been? Why are you so crazy? And more importantly, will you make more music videos please?
